Rename file if it already exists

Post by BB-GBL »

if there is a file In my output folder with the same name as the new file I want to new file to get a number at the end. for example "_2" and counting upwards if more files are coming in with the same name. Now it overwrites the file. I think it's easy but I can't seem to find the solution.

I have a Rename job in my flow, but can't seem to find were to set this up.

If you select the output folder you can see that there is a property for Duplicates, by default it is set to Overwrite. There is an option to add a number to the file name.
