Change color to gray

I want to change a color document to grayscale, but every Pitstop action concerning color or range I use changes the text color to 97%, sometimes even less. The only sure way to keep the black text is to use the internal printtool of Acrobat itself. I have noticed this since we used Pitstop. Is there a setting in the preferences I need to change? Colormanagement?
I have this with many documents, so it is not purely document related.

Have you tried the default Action List "Convert Color to Gray and Keep Black Text" ?

Yes, it results in the texts changing to 97% black even it was 100%K before. That was why I was thinking about something in the preferences, perhaps the color management.

Maybe I have a solution for you. But to be sure before sending you an action script, could you please send me 1 or 2 PDF file to test ?
