Control Text characters with Enfocus Switch + Pitstop

Hi, newbie question: I would create a flow with an input folder with file Excel and I would - with Switch and Pitstop Server - check if in file Excel there are some specific characters.
1st question: is it possible with Switch + Pitstop?
2nd: if yes, what are the steps I've to follow?

I rarely use Pitstop but I believe it can't do something like that. Do you have the scripting module? You could certainly write a script to do this.
