Is it possible to convert postscript files to PDF with pitstop server?

My workflow currently is: postscript file is converted to pdf via distiller > Pitstop Server PDF2image.

Can i skip distiller and send postscript directly to Pitstop?

No that's not possible. PitStop is PDF only.
You'll need to introduce something like Distiller into the workflow if you want to process postscript.

I would actually try to keep Postscript out of the equation if at all possible, but I know that is not always realistic.
