Tip: Document flow

Post by JimmyHartington »

This tip took me far too long to find.

I have known about the "Document Flow" options from the Flow menu for a long time.

In some of my more complicated flows, I set a lot of metadata on a folder, as seen in the screenshot below. I then start and stop flows to find the private data key I need for other parts.

However, if you document the flow, you can simply go to the browser and copy-paste from the flow element there—a real time-saver! :)

Greate tip Jimmy!

I always color my folders with Cyan if I use them to set Private Data values, to also have a visual marker.

In my case orange is the color of folders with metadata.

Hi Loïc

No, just think it was the one color which looked most like the standard yellow.
I use some of the more different colors for other types of folders.

Thank you for this great tip. No more searching by clicking the elements to find the private data field you need!
