Displaying page size with a Preflight Profile

Hi,

I have a question regarding Preflight Profiles in Pitstop Pro.

I know that there are many different checks in relation to pages in the Preflight Profile Editor that one can tailor to look for discrepancies, but what would be incredibly useful is to have it inform the actual page dimensions of the document.

We occasionally have clients who will send files with the incorrect page size. So, instead of 8.5 x 11 it could be 9 x 11.5 for example. We would then have to correct it. Sometimes we miss it and it makes its way to the press.

Occasionally, I forget to look in the Inspector at the Position - Edit Page Boxes section to check. Therefore, it would be great when preflighting everything to have an extra measure to ensure we don't miss it.

Thanks for your help with this.

Hi,

There is a default Action List that just does that:

But of course, it's also recommended to add the size check in the Preflight Profile:

Thanks for the help, that's awesome.

By the same token, can you add the color profile? For instance, we have some documents that go to the Iridesse with RGB. Is there a way to have that added as well?

Is it that you want to set a specific Output Intent, tag objects or do conversion using a specific target profile?

I just want it to display the color space in the same way that the trim size can be imprinted onto the page.

I know that you can have mixed cmyk and rgb. I was just curious if this would work.
