Re: Removing Traps

We're using Heidelberg Prinect. I'll check the options in the processes.

Re: Changing Overprint Modes from OPM0 to OPM1

I can't find it in my actions list. I typed in "overprint" in the search window but "Change Overprint Mode" didn't come up. Can I download it from the Enfocus website?

Changing Overprint Modes from OPM0 to OPM1

Hello,

Is there an action that can change overprinting object's OPM from 0 to 1 or vice versa?

Removing Traps

Hi Forum,

Is there an action that can remove the trapping from a pdf? Some clients don't want to see the traps when they view a pdf proof that's been trapped, especially when they view their pdf in Acrobat Reader and not have their overprint preview on.

Change all overprinting objects to knock out

Is there an action to change all overprinting objects in a pdf to knock out? I couldn't find any action that would globally do this.

Any help would be appreciated!

Preflight Report "Removed object"

We're starting to implement a preflight routine into our workflow and noticed a "fixes" section of the report that says "Removed Object (16x on page 1)". I'm trying to figure out what objects the preflight is referring to. It's a simple envelope pdf and is very "clean" right out of InDesign. Would a...

Action to detect and select a specified area of a black-only object.

I'm trying to figure out an action to detect and select a specified area (greater than a certain width and height) of a black-only object and apply a rich black to it automatically. Is there such a thing?

Re: Converting all colors to process while preserving certain spot colors.

Hello. Okay not totally perfect but close! I introduced a grayscale image (black channel only) into the mix but the action converts it to cmyk. Can there be something in this action to ignore grayscale images?

Best regards!

Re: Disappearing CMYK Profiles

It is very strange. My Acrobat and Pitstop are the latest versions, as well as my OSX. I thought updating everything would fix the issue but it didn't, unfortunately.

Disappearing CMYK Profiles

As soon as I installed the Pitstop plug-in in my Acrobat DC, the CMYK profiles disappear from the color management section of Acrobat's preferences. I wanted to sync Pitstop's color management settings with Acrobat's but the profiles are not showing up. I don't see the profiles in Acrobat's Output P...
