By default, PDF uses incremental updates. So if you simply save the PDF, chances are high that size is indeed not affected because previous state will be preserved. Save document as new file to have the PDF starting on a "blank" page. See page52 here: https://opensource.adobe.com/dc-acroba...

Select objects if page is selected
Select Spot Color - Pantone 072 Blue
AND
Log Selection - No objects are selected

For Feature Requests, I would indeed invite everyone to go through MyEnfocus. A direct link to FeatureOS might not work.
